Mandibular Angle Reduction, also known as Reduction Angleplasty, is a surgical procedure that narrows the breadth of the lower face, transforming a square-shaped face into an oval-shaped one. The mandible angle reduction incision is intraoral.

Postoperative care:

For the initial 5 days following surgery, it is crucial to avoid any activities that could raise blood pressure and potentially exacerbate bruising, edema, and bleeding. Walking is allowed within acceptable limits. Avoid prone position for a duration of one month. When stooping, flex the knees instead of lowering the head.
